Jackpot is an unincorporated town in Elko County, Nevada. Located less than 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) from the Idaho border on U.S. Route 93, Jackpot has been a popular casino gaming destination. Jackpot is located approximately 45 miles (75 km) south of Twin Falls, Idaho. In 2005 it was estimated to have a population of 1,416. As of 2005, Jackpot had six main hotels and motels with casinos.
